"A mixture of ignorance, laziness, and fear of criticism from the conformists around you will prevent you from experiencing wine as discovery and even intellectual pleasure."

For 2026, the Wine Proposal Catalogue is created in collaboration with the artist Federico Lanaro, who graduated in 2004 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. His works, from painting to sculpture to installation, are characterized by cross-cutting themes and a linguistic nomadism, reflecting his personal experience of the world around him.

I veri amanti del vino non amano le discussioni settarie o ideologiche, gradiscono parlare del vino in maniera leggera e comprensibile, vogliono dire quello che pensano senza sentirsi sotto esame, adorano cambiare idea e ricambiarla. Per questa ragione crediamo che la cosa più giusta da fare sia questa: mangiare e bere, bere e mangiare. Consideriamole azioni separate. Mangiamo, aspettiamo un po’, un sorso d’acqua, e godiamoci il vino. Oppure viceversa: ci gustiamo il vino prima del primo boccone e dopo l’ultimo.
